Things have been a little bit slow for the Gear VR over the last few months. We had the occasional bigger release tossed in among much more casual and in some cases pointless affairs. But that all changed this week with Oculus seemingly going crazy and releasing everything that they have all at once. Ten games were released this week, if you count the concepts, and honestly, sometimes they are better than the full releases so you should. But easily the best of the bunch are the two that did not get a soft-launch. Wands and Smashing the Battle.
Gunfire games contacted me not too long ago and said they noticed that I hadn’t reviewed Chronos yet and would I like a key to be able to do so? I told them that I would love a key, but my system isn’t up to spec so I’m not sure it would run. I’m rocking a GTX 770 and a DK2 on this bad boy (I’m referring to my computer.) He said he was going to check with the team to see what they said about it. After a few days I became impatient and asked if he had learned anything and he said they weren’t sure but I was welcome to try it. And try it I did.
I just finished watching the Nintendo Switch press conference. I had been waiting as patiently as I was able since the October Switch reveal to finally get more information about the Switch. It was an uncomfortable presentation to see as all of the presenters were Japanese and dubbed over in English at times by someone who sounded like his dog had died immediately before stepping up to the mic
I have a system of sorts. I play the game. I beat the game. I write the review for the game. I’ve done ten game reviews and this is the form I’ve used. But Drift is beating me. This game is hard.
